I've been thinking about the sudden growth my hair has had, and wondering if getting free of some stress had something to do with it.

I was working an increasingly stressful job until the beginning of February. The company's owners embezzled money (and are now in jail, thankfully), which resulted in the company declaring Chapter 11 and getting auctioned off. Our jobs changed with everyone taking on more and more responsibility and working 12+ hour days every day. I'd go in my office, close the door, pull the blinds and put my head down on the desk and cry. After 15 or 30 minutes or whatever it took, I'd freshen up and go back at it. I finally resigned at the end of January.

Oddly enough, an inch of the three inches of growth I got in the last year (counting from March to March) was from February and March. It seems like too much to be a coincidence! Anyone ever heard of stress stopping growth?
