I have a friend in her early 50s with bra-strap length hair which was really thick when she was a child & teenager but began thinning when she was about 18. She admits that her diet wasn't too good at the time.

She really wants to keep her hair long but because it is quite thin, she feels she has to make it a lot shorter.

I think her main need is for some good supplements & a healthier diet. I've advised that she take a Vitamin B Complex each day & eat either egg or fish every day (if possible).

She doesn't have much money; is there anything else you'd advise she take?

TIA.
