I usually add the protecShine while my hair is damp. Just a little goes a long way. I rub it between my hands and then sort of lightly sandwich the hair between my two hands and run them all over, from about the ears down.
Sometimes I will put an EXTREMELY light amount of Aveda Purefume Brilliant on if I'm wanting some extra shine and if hair doesn't feel at all greasy from the protecShine.
Still experimenting with how I'll use the new stuff. It's rainy here today - usually not a good day for serums as I find they make hair hang limp when it's wet out.
