Solar Rollers are one kind...

They have a shiny mylar fabric cover. They're sold for spiral curls, but I use them a lot as regular end rollers when I want tighter curls. The only thing I don't like about the Solar Rollers is the mylar, over time and lots of use, does start to fray at the ends. But that may be happening to mine because I bend and twist the ends together slightly, instead of just folding the ends over like they show on the package.

Otherwise, I really like them.
