I saw one of those shows several months ago.....

....and cried my eyes out after it was over. The women looked SO much better before the cut, and one woman looked like she was going to have a nervous breakdown afterward. She was visibly distraught, and Maury was disgustingly patronizing. He stated, "But women look much younger with short hair!" Aaaaaccccckkkk!!! I have been hoping she would sue him for forcing her into something she clearly did not want to do -- and I hope he offered to pay for her to get counseling after the show!!

For many of us, getting a minor trim is traumatic -- but chopping off everything all at once?!! It's like getting a limb severed -- that's how I felt when I had a major cut once -- it can be that devastating.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in my reaction to the show. I saw it before I had any online longhair buddies, and I thought something must be wrong with me to have reacted so angrily and violently to that program.
