The year of 2006 sucked for me personally and I am glad the damn thing is over. However in 2006 we saw lots of things from pop culture to pro wrestling to MMA. In the MMA world we saw Boxing get overtaken by MMA. We saw the world of Pro wrestling take a shift with the return of ECW and then Vince flushing it down the crapper. TNA in Orlando took over as the #2 wrestling company and having new stars in the mix of pro wrestling. Britney Spears got single and started wearing less clothes. A president passed on and the hardest working man in show business passed away. The emergence of My space and You tube came along plus Kramer from Seinfeld lost his career after yelling racial comments at hecklers. 2006 was an amazing year for some but for me it sucked big ****ing time.
The mixed Martial Arts world exploded in 2006 with Pride Fighting being on Fox Sports and UFC on Spike TV. The VS. channel added World Combat League and Boxing to it's schedule. MMA took a huge step in gaining over boxing when HBO and Show time picked up MMA shows for 2007. The sport exploded with the fall of the WFA and their fighters coming to the UFC setting up a rematch between "Rampage" and the "Iceman". MMA got some much needed exposure on ESPN and ESPN news. The talk of MMA stars coming into Pro wrestling and vice versa continued in 2006 and the talk of 2007 is Kurt Angle of TNA wrestling going to doing a MMA fight with a UFC star in the new year.
Pro wrestling took a huge jump in 2006 and looking toward 2007, Bret Hart was finally inducted into the WWE hall of fame. TNA wrestling made it's way onto the national stage via 2 tv deals. They now have some major talent from WWE and most WWE stars are pissed and leaving in 2007. We could see RVD come to TNA and others such as VKM the former New Age Outlaws calling out DX and going after them in everyday. ROH emerged in 2006 as the new ECW. We had some nice DVD's released in 2006 such as an AWA dvd and Brian Pillman dvd as well as Vince buying tape library's from everyone from World Class to the AWA.
I lost some friends in 2006 and gained some others back, I lost ties with 2 of my close friends named Rob and Jeaves they ****ed me over so many times in the past and this year I finally just put the nail in the coffin that was our friendship. I made a friend in Wendy White and dated her till she ****ed everyone but me. I was dating Kristy Harter at the beginning of the year but lost her due to problems with us not dating. Then gained her back as a friend but my wife and her do not get along so who knows how long that friendship will last. However I started the year as a non personality and ended the year as basically the baddest man in my area and looking to add to my rep in 2007 by having a rematch with "big Business" and prob. Gaining a title in 2007 with Box-A-Buddy.
I dated 2 chicks and married a 3rd in 2007, I started the year with Kristy Harter, who I have known for decades. However this chick could not suck a dick to save her life and added to the fuel was Rob and Jeaves talking smack on her to me all the time. Then the straw that broke the, well you know the rest. Toward Christmas 2005, my ex-girlfriend, Buffie Embers came back to visit and she ended up sucking my dick over a lunch date we had. She basically got her protein and lunch all in one sitting. Well I could not take it anymore with Harter and moved on. Then I began dating this chick Wendy but we had an open relationship but then she basically did the unforgivable and slept with two of my friends at the time. I then ended up with this chick I have always liked and eventually I married her on 11-30-06 in Nasbar{of all places}.
I did not have a bad year in 2006 but I hope that 2007 is much better for everyone around. This year we look at the year as a new thing with my new marriage and return full time to the gym and also some College stuff. We will really see some good and fun stuff. I hope 2007 is a hell of a lot better than 2006. However who the hell knows however 2007 can not suck as bad as 2006.
