WWE and Congress are going to be chatting soon. Apparently that is what documents released by ESPN said on Friday. Now this is not the first time that Vince has been in hot water with the feds. He was going to be on trial in the early 90's over roids. Then recently the world of athletic commissions declassified the fact wrestling is not considered a sport. Paving the way for WWE to run in new locations they have not ran in years, like 10 years.

Chris Beniot started this whole mess again, now recently Benoit was in the news for killing his family and bringing to light the fact Vince's roid policy was ****. Benoit had a good look but if you knew what you were looking for. CB was on roids and on them big time, however he did not make a big deal being the fact he had gotten them a doctor and anyone who knows roid testing. Prescribed roids will not show up on a test. Benoit led the way for the issue to be trumped up again the world of wrestling and sports.

Vince and the boys have flown under the radar for years. Vince has either sent people to the news and sports shows. Another thing they have done is have him go off and give excuses. Recently Vince was on HBO real Sports. Vince was charged on a question and got pissed and slapped papers out of a reporters hands. Vince has refused with the Benoit issue to make himself available for the news media.

Wrestlers dieing on the watch of WWE has been in the thousands. For instance let's look at the wrestlers who have died and nothing has changed. The list starts with Eddie Guerrero a few years back made the world of wrestling adapt drug and roid policy. The recent passing just this year of Bam Bam Bigelow, Bad News Allen, Mike Awesome, etc. Has done nothing to bring in NY{ the adopted home of WWE/WWF}.

WWE being investigated by the congress, recent wrestling sites have posted the following, Today ESP N's website posted an article on which states that Congress has sent a letter to Vince McMahon requesting information and documents on WW E's drug related policies and testing. That article since then has been updated with the complete letter that was sent. You can access the full letter at ESPN.com.

On an interesting note, Congress is also seeking copies of every drug testing program that has been taken place within the company, even dated back to the World Wrestling Federation era.
Now this means that WWE has to come and go on the offensive. WWE has said they will cooperate with the feds but who knows. If the Feds know about WWE and watch Youtube.com at all. They have heard about the guys who are there and have been there, know Vince does not test and suspend accordingly.

My take is this, if WWE and Vince go to congress will the sports world be pissed when the same testing apples to WWE that UFC has to go under. Something else, guys like Cena will be pushed still but guys like Lashley and Batista are ****ing screwed. The roid boys and others will either dial down their physique or be dropped from the scene or go to Japan, where they could care less. I see that if WWE goes to congress they could do like the Baseball players and be professionals and send John Cena and others who are well dressed and well spoken. They could be like Frank Zappa and Dee Snider and go all goofed out, which if this means WWE will be sending guys like The Boogie Man and the midget leprechaun from Smack down. Whatever happens WWE will not be the same and the days of Bodybuilders jumping in and getting some action will be done.
