The 2008 election is all over the news and the 24 hour news channels are hosting debates, etc. There are several changes I would like to see to all this, however this week. Let's run down the field that the Dem's are fielding for the run to the white house. Tons of stories are at play in the blue side of the coin. You have the man who could become the 1st black leader of the free world. The 1st woman to become the leader of the USA. Then you have the idea that they all are taking advantage of Bush's mistakes and missteps to turn it all around for the more liberal side of the political coin. Do they really have a shot and do they think they can actually go against a red side of the coin which has tons of heavy hitters.

I always like to look at things that will never happen first and that is the guys who have dropped out and what could they have been thinking ever getting into the race, first off you have Bill Richardson who was trying to be the first Hispanic to become prez. Richardson has some good ideas but the one thing that has held him back is 1, national name. No one really knew who he was and also his race may have played a part. With everyone wanting to send the Mexicans back to their country, no one could vote for one to be the leader of the country. Joe Biden, now he is tough as nails and if you have saw him on TV, he has some damn good ideas. However, he lacked the money and the backing of the big wigs in the party. Chris Dodd got into the fray and was going after the young vote and going on shows like Daily Show and Colbert Report. However, he has also tried to get the left wing vote and went on O'reilly and had it out with Bill O, Then he used it as a way to raise money. In the end, nothing worked and we still have Gravel, Obama,Edwards,Kucinich.

Still in the race as I mentioned are the following, and I led off with Gravel. Now this guy is a former US senator from Alaska. He has not gotten much traction and can not do much with the field and he refuses to back down. However he might as well give it up and go home and make more room for them. Now I do not know much about this guy but I can say that he is going to have to pull off a miracle to get anything going. This guy has been threw so much and does have a lot of ideas but I am not sure if he can get it done.

Obama, now what you can say about this guy that has not already been said. Yeah he has had a Bill Clinton like approach and he goes out and tries to get the pop culture vote. He's dancing with Ellen and yucking it up with Stewart. He will not go on Hard news programs and he will not make a lot of stances that will get him sliced in the media. However he has 1 draw back and I mean he is black. You think the wacky groups like KKK and others do not like Bush and want him dead, imagine if one of “them” ran the country. All I have to say is his VP better get ready to take over because someone will shoot him and take a shot at him. Something else is in the country that invented slavery, you think he can get elected. However he is the best chance a black man has getting elected.

Clinton, now she is the red states worst nightmare. Which is why I like the plan that Rush and other right wing talk guys have gotten with. They support Obama and do not spend time knocking on Hill. So which means that people keep Obama fresh and thus have voted for him. Clinton can do great things and if wins. Massive change will happen , now some say for good and others say it could be the death of the USA. Either way Clinton has Bill, so that means that we could see some good stuff in store.

Edwards and Dennis K can be summed up by one thing, last cycle. They can not get the nomination. Edwards is regarded as too much of a pussy and has a lot of pie in the sky ideas. Then you have Dennis who has all the lord of the rings people helping him get votes. He is going on the comedy shows as well. However, he is regarded as a Comedy act and can not get this done or get it going.

My pick if I was voting democratic, well I am not voting right either. However I believe Clinton has the shot to take it. She has Bill and she has all the ideas and also she scares the hell out of the other side. Which means if I can run her, as a dem, I would. Look at this, you have for instance in the MMA world. M-1 got Fedor and instantly they were a player then you have Elite XC who has Kimbo Slice. UFC is not real interested in Elite XC but they sort of run shots at M-1, when they can. So let's look at it this way, the Dem's have Clinton, they get Fedor like effect if the dems get Edwards, they might as well start yelling about “Southbeat records and wanting their bread.”
