First, I would just like to say I have been practicing the technique for about two months and have felt, overall, so much happier and more calm. Days that would have stressed me out before now leave me unphased! Its fantastic!

A couple things have begun happening recently that I am curious about

In the beginning of my meditations I felt alert and awake during the whole process, but I find now that almost as soon as I sit down and begin to repeat the syllable I either just feel like I am spacing out (my mind can't hold onto the syllable and my thoughts wander) or I begin to fall asleep. Actually, after a lot of my recent evening meditations I have just passed out -- taking two hour naps, and I am not usually the type that naps. Also, I find that In just the past couple of days I have felt pretty exhausted during the day as well, yawning frequently, and just generally feeling drowsy.

Since the very first weeks of meditating I have had stress release symptoms (facial twitches, etc) outside of meditation...it's really easy to prevent them from happening but if I just let my body be completely relaxed, the strange twitches can happen, because of this I feel somehow that this yawning and drowsiness outside of meditation is still somehow related.

So now, my question: Is there something I can do to counteract this sleepiness during meditation and the lack of lucidity? Should I just relax and let it happen or should I be worried that I am doing something wrong?

Thanks!
