NSR and sports - a serious problem

I'm an italian meditator. I started meditate 3 years ago. I am totally happy about meditation.

I have this issue. I use to meditate before swimming, before running, before every sport activity. I noticed, it is clear, that meditation actually boost your perforamce. You have more "breathe" (we say in Italy, resistance in other words, I play better because I feel less tired. The problem is after.
It happened that after a lot of swimming without feeling tired I started feeling my head turning and a bad sensation of fainting. In other ...other words my heart loose power immediately.
The same bad experience happened yesterday night after a normal football game. Nothing happened during the game but at the end I was so tired that I had some heart problems.

Does anybody ever had the same problem? How can I understand I'm overdoing sports? How can I stop myself if I don't feel tired during the sports but only after when my heart seems to collapse?

thanks

p.s.
one week ago I tried to swim in the middle of the day without meditating before...it was a mess, less less less swim and getting tired very soon...
