| Levi, here is something else to be aware of. 'Expecting' to experience transcendence can also be a subtle hindrance to the innocence of the process because it can lead to effort -- effort to 'get there', to experience what one believes others are experiencing. Even the slightest non-innocence during the pocess can get in the way of its effectiveness. And the expectation of experiencing transcendence, or stillness, or bliss can be one such a non-innocent aspect that can trigger some slight effort.
