Your experience is an interesting confirmation of the naturalness and innocence of NSR Meditation. It is best to practice it without strain, as described in the NSR manual.

The body and mind cooperate in experiencing transcendenal consciousness, the fourth major state of physiology (in addition to waking, dreaming, and deep sleep). Since this is a state of deep rest with mental alertness, a comfortable physical position is certainly helpful.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am pleased that you are enjoying the benefits of NSR in your daily life. Good things are happening!
