fxfman,
You are asking some very good and basic questions. It is important to have reliable answers. Let me answer each of them separately, in depth.
"I don't know if I do NSR effortless or not."
The basic question to ask yourself is whether you are thinking the syllable as effortlessly as you experience thoughts, sensations, or outside noises. These other experiences are spontaneous--you don't have to do anything to make them happen. The same should be true of the syllable. It should be there on that same level, more like a memory or a feeling than a crystal-clear thought. Our only activity during meditation is to favor the syllable; we never think it by force against other mental activities.
"In the beggining I just said the word silently in my mind. Now, after 4 sessions, Sometimes I picture it, as my mind write this word many times, but I do it intentionally, I thought in the middle of the meditation that I would put less effort on it if I picture the word, so maybe it's not effortless..."
I agree that it is probably not effortless. Any time we make our own change to the process of NSR Meditation we reduce its effectiveness and usually its effortlessness as well.
Doing something "intentionally" means doing it ourselves rather than letting it happen automatically. Intentional activity happens on the level of the ego, which is the result of stress and therefore keeps your stresses from dissolving.
It is best to read the manual again, or even to go through the initial session (Session 1) again, using the manual and the audio CD. This way we can be sure we are following the correct instructions.
"Can you post the process that anybody can follow to check if he do it right or not?"
No, this is not possible, because this cannot be done by ourselves alone. Checking that meditation is being done correctly can only be done interactively by a trained checker or NSR Meditation instructor.
But I point out that Skype or speakerphone consultations with me cost less than $15 USD. We are volunteer and nonprofit organizations who provide support for anyone who feels the need for it, at prices that anyone can afford. Our price list and order form for support services are at
http://www.nsrusa.org. Compare our pay-as-you-go business model with that of Transcendental Meditation, where you pay $2000 once, and get a lifetime of free checking, as needed, at TM centers (see
http://www.nsrusa.org/compare.php).
"can you post examples of people, from the first session until they riched the right practise?"
Yes. This NSR Forum has many examples of such people, who posted questions similar to yours and who discovered how to let go and allow the process to be effortless. All you have to do is read all the forum entries. This may take several days, but those who have done this say it was worth it because they learned so much. There are no worthless or "fluff" postings on this forum.
"Is the effortless way comes with practise or I should reach it instantly?"
We know that some people who learn NSR experience it as an effortless process immediately, from the first session. Others have some roughness or self-analysis, usually because they have learned some other mental procedure or have a strong sense that nothing can be accomplished unless one works hard for it (which may be true of daily life but is not true of the transcending process).
"Also, when I practise now,can I see the same EEG resualts that a TM practioner reach or it make some time until I can reach this level?"
All the results that show the fourth state of consciousness (restful alertness or transcendental consciousness)--the EEG results, the GSR changes, the reduced metabolism, the reduced serum stress hormones, etc.--come within 0 to 10 minutes of first beginning the practice of transcending, whether subjects have learned using Transcendental Meditation or NSR Meditation. We know this on the basis of our preliminary studies during meditation (see
http://www.eeg.it/eeg/anxiety-nsr.php and
http://www.eeg.it/eeg/nsr.php) and on the basis of our studies of the results of meditation (lowered state and trait anxiety and increased self-actualization) (see
http://www.nsrusa.org/research.php).
In general, we feel sure that the hundreds of scientific studies of TM (see
http://www.globalgoodnews.com/research.html and
http://www.tmbusiness.org/national-institutes-of-health.html) apply to NSR as well, since the process of transcending is the same even though the process of learning is different.
