| I have been practicing NSR for about 7 months now and enjoy it very much. I have posted on this board before but now have another question.
For the past week or so my meditation sessions have been a little different. My mind becomes very light, if that makes sense, and I have the slightest of pressure on the top of my head and temple area. It's a fantastic feeling and it feels very refreshing while I'm in the meditation session. I have had this feeling before but never for this long. Afterwords I feel fine but I noticed that I still have some slight pressure on my head. Nothing bad though and still feel good. Because of this I have decided to remain with my eyes closed after the session for sometimes up to 10 minutes or more. I even sometimes lay down for over 10 minutes. After the session I still feel the normal relaxed feeling but I find my self a little more spacey. Also, I find myself a little tongue tied and tend to mispronounce words (I only say this because I'm on the phone all day as a technical support specialist, so verbal communication is important). Other than that, I still feel great, and the spaciness tends to go away after an hour or so.
I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences.
I really don't want to change anything because my actual meditation sessions have been great and very refreshing. I think the syllable in a very effortless way and do not think I'm pounding the mantra
Should I start meditating for only 5-10 minutes? At least until the spaciness goes away?
Thank you,
Jimbo |
