Thanks David,
I have reduced my after session period to 3-4 minutes and it really has helped. I feel I have taken it to another level with my meditation which is great. I feel I tend to improve in waves and then have periods where I don't see as much rapid improvement (and I know this is normal).
I have noticed something as of late that I can't really comprehend though. When the syllable is at a higher pitch or tone in my mind during my session, I feel different during the day. I still feel light and relaxed but not as much compared to when the pitch is lower. Sometimes I even feel the slightest bit of anxiety too. I am not actually saying the syllable in my head but sometimes it just feels like it is at a higher pitch or wave frequency (a concept that is difficult to explain in words). What I have been doing as of late is keeping the syllable at a lower pitch and in return I tend to feel better. But at the same time I know I am not supposed to force anything and often times I feel like letting the syllable naturally go to the higher pitch is the effortless or correct way.
Have you ever heard of anything like this?
Thanks,
