Response to Sleep cycle & Meditation

Hi - well, I eventually answered by own question by "googling" happy.gif

the simple answer is "Melatonin" - meditation increases melatonin & melatonin regulates the sleep/wake cycle of the body.

I am still studying as to just how it does this (it's quite tricky but fascinating)
