Thank you so much for this technique by the way. I have a question relating to exercise. i'm an avid player of badminton, I play it to a fair level. I was wondering how NSR affects conciousness during exercise and after. I am experiencing some really positive feelings which could be described as euphoric. Also I feel as if i'm contributing to the "atmosphere" in the sports hall and with the other players. Is this cosmic energy!?

The value of exercise

Anonymous,

Thank you for raising this issue. Exercise and other activity during the day are very valuable for stabilizing the benefits of NSR. It is the activity during the day that integrates the deep rest and expanded awareness into our life. Rest and activity are the two steps of progress.

When the stresses are gone and silence has been integrated into life, life is lived on the level of fulfillment. Everthing seems to get done without effort. This is enlightenment. It is not something mystical and far off, it is simple living in the present, with the strength, intelligence, bliss, and innocence that come with freedom from stress.

Euphoria is how we experience bliss when it is new and is experienced as something separate. Later, it will become integrated and experienced as just part of normal life.
