Should I meditate before or after I do some exercise? If I do it after it helps me calm down from the exercise and it is also easyier because my dworsiness from bed is gone. But then again you may get into deeper meditation if you do it before, but with the risk of falling asleep... Also should you drink water before in the morning?
Another question is about the syllable. I have been doing some meditation of and on with the same TM/NSR technique for some while now after reading the basic insrtructions, it has worked quite well, but I wanted to learn it properly and get the routine! But should I use my old invented syllable(asha) wich my brain already is familiar with or should I use yours?
Thank you! The instructions are very clear and good!

Robin,
Meditate before exercise, not after. It's okay to have a sip of water or juice before meditation. I would prefer to give advice on mantras in private (use the Contact Us form at www.nsrusa.org). In general, the advice is to follow all of the instructions.
