Meditate at 7 and 12?

Hello,

I find myself completing my morning meditation about 7 am and my second session around noon. Is this enough elapsed time between the two? Is it a problem that the next morning session is now 19 hours away?

Thanks.

Balance of rest and activity

Anonymous,

It is generally best to meditate before breakfast and before dinner for people on a typical daytime schedule. This allows plenty of time for daily activity to stabilize the effects of NSR meditation in our life. If our meditation sessions are too close together, we may get fewer benefits, or get them more slowly.

Sometimes our schedule does not permit us to practice NSR at the ideal times. In these cases, we do the best we can and resume a better meditation schedule when possible.

NSR is very flexible. It can be adapted to fit any lifestyle. As creativity and intelligence increase in our life due to the dissolution of stress, it becomes easier to schedule our sessions in a way that gives a good balance of rest and activity.
