Hi Everyone,
I started this meditation practice around the middle of August. I wonder if it is because I have actually set an appointment with God or set an appointed time that I have results. I think the setting aside time has been very valuable.
My routine is to say my prayers before I start. I voice my heartfelt desires, my concerns and my gratitude to God before starting so I can have a clear mind. Since starting this process, I have changed from hoping and praying that God will use me as His servant to KNOWING that He does. I also have gone from hoping and praying that He will be intimately and activley involved in my husband's and children's and loved ones' lives to KNOWING that He is. So what "might be" has become "what is." I feel so light, secure and grateful.

Freedom from stress: available to everyone now

Thank you for sharing your beautiful experiences. I hope everyone notices what is the same and what is different about the paths that different people choose. There are as many paths as there are people in the world. That's a lot of paths.
We start from wherever we are, filled with stress, suffering from fear, or shame, or anger, or arrogance, or worry, or emptiness, or resentment, or weakness, or unhappiness.
Then we simply follow a thought to the source of all thoughts, and as the stresses leave, gradually (or, sometimes, surprisingly and delightfully suddenly) discover our true nature.
