in case Eric got to read this...

Dear Eric,
I'll now jump over the fact I actually was born with APP music in my mind and ears, I guess that's pretty normal here...
Well, I'm an Italian guy whose family is half-Scottish, mainly from Ayr and Stewarton, but I also have roots in Glasgow (Govan).
I always wondered about where you actually come from: I mean, which area of Glasgow were you actually raised in?
Do you support Rangers or Celtic? Silly question indeed, but that's what makes up a Glaswegian, isn't it?
I once read your family owned a store in the city: could you tell me something more about it?
And, last but not least: HOW MANY SCOTS IN THE PROJECT! Was it due to the fact you knew a lot about the Scot musical scene or whatever?
Thanks a lot, Eric.

Eric thanks you for your e-mail. Here are the answers to your questions ...

Eric was born in Charing Cross in Glasgow and lived there until moving to Pollockshields when he was eleven.

He never had any interest in football so didn't support either team!

Eric's father and Uncle owned a modern furniture store in town called Elders.

Ian Bairnson, David Paton and Chris Rainbow were all Scots who were regular APP contributors, but the only one who was part of the Glasgow scene was Dean Ford (vocalist on Pyramid)who was the lead singer of a group called Marmalade, originally known in Glasgow as Dean Ford and the Gaylords.

Hope this covers all your questions. Thanks for your interest!
