Dear Fellow Fans, dear Alan, dear Eric,
it has been quite some time now that the "Alan Parsons Project" has released its last record. And despite all the things that happened from then on, - and I think everybody is entitled to its own opinion about the course of events -, these albums still do stand out as the gems they are in the history of music.
So I understand we would not possibly see a "Reunifying Tour" or a "new" APP CD in the near future.
But if I were granted one wish:
- Could it be possible to buy back the rights for Tales from (Damn I forgot the company) and the other 9 albums from ARISTA
- could it be possible to have these 10 albums as one collection, remastered and revisited from Alan, Eric, perhaps Andrew Powell as well
- could it be possible to have them in a state of the art DTS/Dolby X.1/THX/SACD/DVD whatever format, I would LOVE to hear the WHOLE APP collection in an "official" surround mix
- and last but not least could we not add an 11th DVD, with all the videos that have been done for the songs, perhaps also digitally refreshed and "surrounded" ?
I guess this would require a fair amount of time and money, but it is not unachievable...
I have a dream ...
