The city looked amazing on touch down and sun was still shining at 10pm and my set time was 2am so I have plenty of time to chill and get ready. I prepared the opening for the show and though I'd go very easy and vocal, but they love to introduce DJs here so Madeon would be the perfect start..I thought. I was met with a whole club just staring at me, hahaha - not a good look, so in with the Cazzette mix of Bromance that wakes up dead anywhere. Like? Not so much and neither did One Last Ride so had to Switch it up to the biggest tunes ever and then some more disco based stuff. I played Moscow the other month and it was unreal and totally in line with the rest of the world even though Moscow can be very 'bottle service' and 'sugar daddy in the VIP', but I honestly thought most of the country now had gotten over the 90's vibe, but not here. After about 45 minutes I got that informative line that Dennis Ferrer got in Miami; the resident will take over now, but by now I really had them going. Weird, but not much you can do. Loved the show anyway and hopefully I get to play another club here as the city is beautiful!
