I didn't sample anything actually, but I did get inspired from my 1994 remix of Donna Giles 'And I'm Telling You'. On the other hand, I'm like the biggest Chic fan there is so I might have been inspired by them too.

Thanks now I know... To raise another subject...why do you think most acts who sample Chic only go for the most well known songs... I mean they've done outstanding work that seems perfect to sample on other songs than just the hits?
Good point, but maybe loads of people have sampled Chic's less known work and got away with it? Personally, I have analyzed a lot of their music and over the years I have figured out how they got it together. This way I have been able to create something new without sampling them, which works better for me.
