M-bro is the cooler short name for this city and there's definately a bro feeling here. Empire is an institution and just about every big DJ has played here at least once. I was here with Hed Kandi myself a couple of times last year so I was looking forward to returning. Even though it wasn't full, it was a good and upfront crowd that seemed to be into a slightly dirtier twist. Tried loads of new things like the Soul Avengerz mix of Lil' Love (they put the vocal back in time - thanks) and Cloud9 which is the people behind C Mos and my new mix of Spirit ID that will come out on the label soon. Great night with Joey and Kerry coming up from Birmingham and with the weather being well sunny during the day, it felt like summer is finally here.

It was a top night, like you said Stones, they did seem to prefer those more Acid beats. The crowd would not go before you played aone more aswell, which is always a good sign of a top night out.
