Poland is quickly becoming one of my new favourite countries. The crowds are always up for it and friendly and the scene is still fresh. My boys Wawa (great producers) took care of me and warmed up. The club is cool, very similar to one of the other great clubs in Poland, Utopia. Had a chance to drop my mix of Sweetest Taboo that will come out on Stoney Boy early next year and it it got great reactions as did tougher dirty disco, but surprisingly not the more tribally stuff like the Great Barrier mix of Lil Love (you gotta check that one out) and the new mix of Gypsy Woman. Good night, will be back in Poland soon, I can feel it!

DJ Renegade – Sweetest Taboo (SB)
Haji & Emanuel – Take Me Away
Ian Carey – Say What U Want (Dub)
Aaron Smith – Dancin’ (Lil Love)
Cloud9 – How Can I Rock Thee (Sunloverz)
Sal Basile – Feeli It (Live Element)
Hound Dogs – I Like Girls (Olav Basoski)
Mama Say – Mama Sa
Soul Seekerz – Turn Me Upside Down
DJ Bomba & J Paolo – Esuma
Yohanne Simon – Dancefloor Fever
Collatrax – Animal
C Mos – A Million Ways (Axwell)
Chrystal Waters – Gypsy Woman (Funkagenda & Jaytay)
Lil Love – Little Love (Great Barrier)
Spirit ID – Arabian Night (SB)
Mr Hermano – Free As The Morning Sun

I'm not usually a fan of remixes of old tunes but the Gypsy Woman one is really great. Surprised to hear that it didn't go over well. Then again, if every dancefloor had the same taste, being a dj wouldn't be any fun...

Yeah, Agree about rehashing 80-90's stuff, but this one is made a bit different and I was looking forward to drop it and expected massive response. Still, this was Poland where these booties are not that well exposed + the crowd was very young. They might not remember the tune from back in the day.
