Back in Brighton for a session with Born To Dance and a session it was! After sampling the local fish & chips on the pier with Joey & Kerry and hooking up with Chewie & Nitefly we got to the club around 1 and had to wait for ages to get in. A girl came out coughing her guts out and it all looked a bit strange, but we got in. 10 minutes later the whole club was evacuated because someone had sprayed CS gas on the dance floor - nice! Most people came back in tough and it turned out to be a great night with lots of upfront tunage aired. Sebastian Ingrosso's 'Stockholm' track went down a storm as did 'Atomic Control' and 'Love Sensation'. After my set I stayed and checked Lil' Joey, who was on top form on a dirty tip!

Leana - Faith (SB Dub)
Eric Smax & Thomas Gold - My Roots (Moto Blanco)
Deep Dish - Dreams (Axwell)
Supermode - Tell Me Why
Oliver Moldan - Second Session (SB Edit)
Chris Kaeser & Antoine Clamaran - Atomic Control (CK)
Ian Carey - Say What U Want (Dub)
Paris Avenue - I Want You (DTM & JR Bangin)
Eddie Thoenick & Kurd Maverick - Love Sensation
Christian Alvarez - Feel The Groove (Franklin D)
Hatiras - Mannequins (SB Edit)
Freemasons - Watchin’ (FM Dub)
Sebastian Ingrosso - Stockholm Disco (SB Edit)
Eric Smax & Thomas Gold - S_Punk
Marnix & Mustafa - Time 2 Get Funky (Mischa)
Switch - A Bit Patchy
Open Air - Seven Nation Army (Young Punx)
Haji & Emanuel - Take Me Away (SB)
Armand Van Helden - My My My (SB)

Wicked night all round, apart from the CS incident. The party soon got back on track thanks to a top set by Gav McCall. Stonebridge as you can see from the above set list did what he does best, and created that chunkier, dirty vibe that always goes off. Then it was me from 4:30 till 6. I followed the dirty tip and played a little different to my usual soulful, funky stuff.
Big thanks to everyone who made my fist south coast gig a top one.

Erick E – Keep On Making Noise (Original Mix)
Soul Dive ft Jonice – Goodbye (Future Retro Mix)
Mama Say – Mama Sa
Filterfunk – S.O.S (Filterfunk Empty Bottle Mix)
Deux – Sun Rising Up (Sharp Boys)
Dennis Christopher – Slut (Vocal Mix)
Mischa Daniels – Of My Rocker (Club Mix)
DJ Jose – Stepping to the Beat (Enzo Mori, Stephen Clark and Chris Lona Remix)
M.A.N.D.Y – Body Language
Alex Neri – House Track (Steve Angello Mix)
Crystal Waters – Gypsy Woman (Funkagenda Mix)
Who’s Who – Not So Dirty (Philippe B)
LCD Sound System – Tribulations (Tiga Mix)

Body Language. Top tune, but DJ Jose had to be the best one of my set on the night, followed very closley by Who's Who.

its a tune, its even more of a tune on a massive sound system or up close and personal on the ipod

it pishes on leo sayer thats for sure

Hi Barry

Hello honey, we've not heard from you in a while, we hope that you are okay. Not long now until you become a Dad and your responsibilities change forever

So your going to have a daughter, how sweet. You will have to send us the address so we can send her up a little something.

Joey needs to do a new CD anyway, its just finding the time with him being away a lot recently. When he does one, your's will be the first on the list.

Lots of love, keep in touch.
Kerry
