The Wickerman Festival takes place this year 21st + 22nd July 2006, nr Kircudbright South West Scotland. Skiddle in association with Refine will be running a 600+ capacity dance tent for the weekend showcasing all the music we love best.
Now we know plenty of people will want to play, but to put it simply, it isn't a necessarily that you will be, regardless of how well we know you, how much you play etc. We will however, be giving everyone an open ear and the best chance possible to play at the event, which this year has a capacity of nearly 15,000 so its pretty likely you will be playing to a full crowd!

The genre of your music, where you have played in the past or whether you still use vinyl or not does not matter, we are simply going to get pissed up and listen to your music. If we enjoy it, you might get a slot.
We will also be running a dj comp of which all cd's will be automatically entered into, this however will be more structured and work in a rounds esq kind of way, more details on that shortly.
Demand to play at this festival is already massive. Any who has attended wickerman will realise why! Because of the demand, all cd's must be in our possession by April 15th at the latest.
