Another deadly 7AM flight, but at least direct to Alicante where I hooked up with Ronster to go up to Javea, which is the town nearest Ibiza in mainland Spain. Ian Carey met us and brought us to the club, which is really cool - very similar to Icebergs in Bondi Beach. The gig was very good and I had a great time with Ian & Co. The next day we were supposed to have a really chilled drive down to Marbella, but it was soon clear that Spain is a petty big country. Made it last minute to the gig and basically threw the first record on after stepping out of the car. Zentribe, who are releasing their new single on Stoney Boy, came down and some other UK and local DJs where there too so I had a little crowd + the jet setting Es Vive type of punters. Nice to air some less frantic grooves for a change! Last stop was my return to Puro Hotel in Palma, which has to be the coolest hotel there. Awesome, but unfortunately not that great as a venue since bass will upset people in the middle of the night. Did my best to funk it up and it ended on a nice note. Ronster got his dirty girls track too so in all a pretty cool weekend in Spain. Next up is St Albans in the UK and I will have my new single ready by then
