The weekend started with a bit of a stealth operation up to Luton on a Friday night. The club is really nice and brand new and part of the same chain as the one in St Albans. Can't say it was a classic and none of the crew wanted to join me, but I enjoyed it anyway and the highlight of the night was how well my tour manager's track went down (Keep an eye out for Soul Inspiration 'A Little Love').

The Energies - Life Begins (Raul Lincon)
DJ Jose - Stepping To The Beat (Soul Avengerz)
Madonna - Jump (Axwell)
Soul Seekerz - Party For The Weekend (ES & TG)
Seamus Haji - Last Night A DJ (SB)
Mischa Daniels - Take Me Higher (SB)
M&S - Stay Around (Til West)
Chocolate Puma - Always & Forever (Til West)
Syke ‘n Sugarstar - Are You (Scumfrog)
Whitecell - Tainted Love (DJ Prom)
StoneBridge - SOS (RMX)
Soul Inspiration - A Little Love
Supermode - Tell Me Why (Raul Rincon)
Armand Van Helden - My My My (SB)
Pete Walshe - Gonna Miss Me
Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah (D Ramirez)

The following day it was time for my well anticipated return to Turnmills. Last time was in 2000 with Pete Tong and I always wanted to go back. Even though this weekend must have been one of the busiest in London (Tenaglia @ MoS, Axwell @ Cross, Hed Kandi @ Pacha) it was full and it was a great crowd all up for funky music. Knee Deep were on before me and they played a solid, less soulful set than I expected and set up the vibe just right. As I went on, Chris Kaeser and his two mates, Rita Campbell and my Australian singer Nic steamed into the booth for a bit of a boogie and it went off from there. Really love this club and can't wait to come back again, possibly earlier than 2010

M&S - Stay Around (Til West)
The Energies - Life Begins (Raul Lincon)
DJ Jose - Stepping To The Beat (Soul Avengerz)
Madonna - Jump (Axwell)
Mischa Daniels - Take Me Higher (SB)
Chris Kaeser & Rita Campbell - Rush (SB)
StoneBridge - SOS (RMX)
Soul Seekerz - Party For The Weekend (ES & TG)
Fireflies - I Can’t Get Enough (Richard F)
Guy Gerber - Stoppage Time
Kurd Maverick - The Rub
Dirty Old Ann - Turn Me On (Phunkk Mob)
Syke ‘n Sugarstar - Are You (Scumfrog)
Whitecell - Tainted Love (DJ Prom)
Phunkk Mob - Something’s Gotta Give (Wawa)
Supermode - Tell Me Why (Raul Rincon)
Haji & Emanuel - Take Me Away (SB)
Soul Inspiration - A Little Love
Pete Walshe - Gonna Miss Me

It was a blinding night. Very suprised at the quality of club and people at Turnmills. The club itself is one of those mazy affairs, where you could easily get lost in. The sound system is awesome to. Very Very loud, but set up so clean i had no ringing in my ears at all (A refreashing change).

Highlights for me. Rush sounded amazing, SOS that remix is gonna be big, and the last Two tracks i just loved.

It was a wicked, if not quite a busy night. Good to see a big crew for Stoney. And boy did they stake a claim on the booth. LOL.

Thanks Stone for a top one, and like yourself i can't wat for the next on at this venue.
