As part of my Swedish mission, I had agreed to play for JdotP in his new club, the VIP of Gota Kallare or GK as it’s called now, in Stockholm. The concept is really cool with invites/list only so there were plenty of proper clubbers and old pals around. The night is called Vardagsummet which means the living room and that’s exactly what it looks like with furry wallpaper and sofas scattered around. Jdot played some really cool stuff as I arrived and had a nice vibe going. I decided to start slow and build with semi well known tracks. In the end it was the dirty stuff that really got them going and Guy Gerber seems to be a bit of a classic in these parts! Surprisingly good sound for a smaller room and they had brought n a bit of extra bass for me which is nice. Thanks guys - I think I’ll be back at some point!!
