My all-Sweden mission is now completed in style and it has been absolutely amazing! The Stockholm one a few weeks ago was so so, but these two totally made up for it. On the Friday I flew down to Gothenburgh, which takes about 45 minutes. The guys picked me up and we went for a meal and then the club. It was a nice venue in theory, but the main dance floor is very small, so a new one had been done up in the other room with a stage and all. At first the sound wasn't that loud, but mid set another speaker was brought in and it was great. The crowd like it dirty ++ so I aired all the tougher grooves and really got it going. All my old DJ friends from the city came up and it was a proper reunion. Will do more Gothenburg next year for sure.

After a few hours back in Stockholm I got on the next flight up to Umea, which is in the north. Had to chill for a few hours after the Gothenburgh mission, but got straight into the vibe in the club that was done up amazingly with back stage area and the best booth I've seen in Sweden so far. There was a lot of bass and I actually had to bring it down at bit so no complaints there. This crowd has been properly educated with everything from the Mafia and it was a pleasure listening to the guys playing before me. Not a cheesy track in sight, just proper house. In the end they refused to leave so I played 3 encores and then the guards shut the thing down - fantastic night and I will so come back again and can recommend anyone to go there!

Haven't suggested that before this weekend, but you would have loved these two and I'm officially a convert. I'll keep you posted on the next one (there will be more, spoke to both promoters about it).

The crowd was really up for it this night, great set and of course a wicked performance. Me and Andreas really enjoyed our warm-up set before your gig, it's not to often us country-folks can get crazy on the decks. We hope you had a great time visiting Umeå, we sure likes having you there.
