The second installment on Ibiza and this time with Erire on PA and Mischa Daniels on before me. It started with the boat party which was amazing this time. I have to admit that I took some of DJ Fubar’s tricks - no headphone mic chatting though, but some of the large tracks that they love. I’m telling you guys, that ‘In This Silence’ on Born To Dance is bigger than any other track this season. For ordinary people that is, not the DC 10 crowd
After the boat we did the Itaca pre-party, which is not bad, but the way the place is laid out, people cross the dance floor to get out to the terrace so you have a constant flow of people walking across. Well, it was a short one, me and Mischa doing 30 minutes each and then off to the main even: Es Paradis. As we came in a French DJ did a really good warm up with what you could call Defected progressive tracks. Then Mischa went on and smashed it with some Mafia style sounds and acapellas. In between oour sets, Erire came on and did Haji & Emanuel’s ‘Take Me Away’ and ‘SOS’ and she relly rocked it this time. As I went on I was joined by my favourite people: The Sax Player and The Drummer - Thanks a lot….NOT. Their shit was blasted through my monitors so it wasn’t easy to mix, lemme tell ya. Still, the lovely Lara is a wicked sax player and she did a great job playing on the dirt - Ronster, you would have enjoyed it! Towards the end, we got a massive batch of people coming in from Roger Sanchez yelling that this party is better - people actually dance. You gotta love that and it was probably a good description of the night. Got one left, but it’s at El Divino with Kiss Da Funk - should be wicked!
