Hi everyone,
.
Hope this email finds you all in god spirits.I've been really busy so I never got to post my full Miami report when I came back in December.I'd only been previously when the winter music conference was on and I had my suspicions that this was not a true indication of what the city is really like. After hooking up with Stone in Paris we flew over and had a overall great few days in the sunshine state.

Again for my readers out there Im not going to comment to much on the music that Stone played but this will be a social cultural report. After hooking up that same evening with my dj mate cladio (were he was providing the lounge music at a great Urugauay restaurant),me and stone had a great steak and then headed back to rest in our hotel, since we were prety jet lagged and tired.. and also we had a busy night a head the next night.

After some shopping during the day we were picked up by a charming canadian montreal guy called Carlos who took us to diner with a group of his freinds. Carlos was the marketing guy for the opium group and so after diner we head over to prive which was more lounge bar than club..Stone ended up playing 3 hour set which I have not seen many off and indeed put in another high quality performance.

Next day we were invited to the opium grup flagship club called mansion.I had'nt been here since dj Sneak played it 2 years ago.A massive club with what im sure is a funksion one system.

Stone left the next day which left me to rediscover my love of favorite club in the world. The Fifth is a club that either you know it or you dont and only the true conoscienti understand. Its not massive , hold around 1000 but the layout and sound system blow everyting I know away.I heratily recomend anyone going to Miami to check this club out.

Met up with Cladio the day before returning back home. We discussed how dance music was fairing round the world. Sadly it seems that cubbers who dont do drugs are still in the minority and Claudio painted a rather sad picture of what club life is really like in Miami. Now you know people I don't lecture anyone, but I find this whole e and coke vibe a complete waste of a persons love for the music that they are trying to show appreciation for.

Ok rant over.Miami is still a great place. Where u can combine great shoping(only 7% local tax), sunshine and clubbing. Great cultural shows are always on and really an overall great time will be had by all.

Ciao
