OK, I thought I'd seen a lot of interesting venues, but nothing like Custard Factory in Birmingham - what a cool place (both cool and literally cool). The gig itself was a bit strange as I was booked really early, but apparently one of the other headliner's (Calvin Harris) management didn't want to share billing so I wasn't supposed to do the show. Then Calvin used the amazing new Terminal 5 in London and lost all of his music and other stuff so I was back in last minute and as I have been curious about this place for a long time so I decided to do it. Ronster and Joey felt the same so the crew got together and went down in the ice cold night. First thing we see is that one of the areas is outdoor - the one I'm playing. And the music playing then was a mix of breaks and industrial. Hmm...interesting. Luckily, they had a massive heater so I got that going and could play without a big ass jacket on. Had to sort of start in the hard end to match the vibe and after about an hour, the poolside was pretty full and it ended up being a really cool show actually.

Funny to see that even dj's that have been there from the beginning like SB, can still be amazed by gigs. No CTH in the playlist?? You know that YDK was your previous single
