After the wicked SMC show and a few hours sleep, I found myself sitting in the lovely Lufthansa business class on way to Seoul again. Not that I demand crazy things all the time, but if you are playing a show on the other side of the world and one the next day in London, you have to sleep somewhere. I know I have been going on about Seoul and Korea a lot lately, but it's just too good to be true over there. Not only do you get spoiled rotten with fantastic barbecue and other interesting foods by the legends David and Kobe, the crowd is simply a DJ's dream. This was M2's 4th anniversary and they had an online vote which guest DJ that should come back to play. I didn't win any awards at SMC, but I cleaned up this competition by miles and I felt like Ceasar coming back to Rome, haha. I started the set with some solid groovy stuff just to set the mood. Then it got dirtier and filthier all the way up to Albin Myer's excellent new track 'Ultra Beat' (man, this shit rocks - respect!!!), Gaz James 'City of God' and TV Rock's incredibly dirty mix of Lil Mo Ying Yang 'Reach'. I sprinkled the latter with a touch of 'Can You Feel It' towards the end of the breakdown and the place just erupted when it kicked back in like I haven't seen in years. 3 hours just flew by and all of a sudden I was back in the Lufthansa Airbus again with the biggest grin in history.

After a bit of a drama trying to find the driver at Heathrow (him holding a sign with Mr Stand didn't help), I joined the crew; Walter, Bram and Rita Campbell at Mercure Hotel for a bit of excitement before the XXL show. The club is just a few blocks away and was getting busy a we came there around midnight. I've gotta say that the gay promoters and clubs are the most professional in the business, especially in the UK and Australia. It's all taken care of, you get the drinks, they know all about you and your music - love it! Rita went on first and did a smoking live PA with 'Rush', Close To Heaven' and In This Silence' Then I got on and since this was the third night of a massive 4 day bender, the guys looked like they needed a bit of a shake up so I repeated the TV Rock vs 'Can You Feel It' trick, but kept it fairly vocal and anthemic over the three hours. Best moment was when I dropped my remix of Emilia towards the end - it was just perfect and a great way to end an amazing week with three great shows. Special thanks to Scott & the crew (PS Scotty, love the mission control in the booth).

Hear hear; that Emilia track rocks (literally!) and that DONS, Hard Fi and Rubato trio was excellent. Moving between dancefloor and booth (which was about 8 (?) feet higher than the dancefloor) allowed me to see the boys really enjoying the music. Rita ruled in her fierce outfit and i think it's time Stone does an Amsterdam circuit party!
Also nice to see that they named a street after you, across from the venue! Go Ceasar!
