Moscow is wild and definitely a place you must see. All signs of the old days are now officially gone there and it's a true 24 hour city with more swish clubs than NYC even. That is also a bit of the problem here as you have two types of clubs; the dark after hours vibe or bottle service/VIP type clubs with something called face control. Basically, they pick the crowd with most money. In the later type, you are expected to go back to 2004, which of course ain't gonna happen so it's a balance act to play there these days. Just before you go on, they give you a rundown of the recent DJs that didn't make it through the two hours, a bit like in Gladiator, when they stood behind the doors waiting to be kicked onto the arena. Luckily, I lasted my 2 hours this time as well, but I had to work my ass off people. The crew with Martin and Oleg + friends were there and we went to the legendary American Bar & Grill for brekkie after the show, which always is cool to do.

After a day of connections etc, I landed in Glasgow and were picked up by three lovely ladies that took me to Wishaw, which is between Glasgow and Edinburg. The club, Zico, is an old cinema and they've done a fantastic job turning it into a New York/Pacha style massive room with an elevated booth on one side and an elevated restaurant on the other side. The residents had already gotten the party going as I went on and I wish I would have had another hour in the end as the vibe was amazing. The Scots are into house thank God (they do great haggis balls too) - loved it guys and will be back before you know it!
