After last year's mini tour of Sweden in August, we decided to to it again this year, but a a bit bigger. It all started with a solo show for me in Halmstad at Club Monday. Man, this venue was the coolest thing I've seen for a long time. It was a factory building and inside they had built like a festival stage with a full blown rig - awesome. A female DJ warmed up Amsterdam style with some darker grooves and I could get into the peak stuff right away. It was a long one and I enjoyed all of it so hopefully I will be back here next year.

After getting Funky Junction, Joey, Vink, MC Iceman and the rest of the crew from various flights, we got into the rented tour bus and drove up to Falun. I've been here before this summer and it's a cool little venue with a terrace, main and back rooms. We took over the whole thing and had all rooms going pretty much all night. The promoter's shirt went off after midnight and the last hour Funky Junction did his Miami tribal thing and as last year, it just worked like a charm. Wicked night!

It was a long drive down to Båstad, all the way on the south coast, but the weather cleared up and it looked a bit like St Tropez so we got excited again. Joey did the opening on the terrace downstairs to set the mood as this club is used to more of a Stockholm electronic vibe. After a few hours, the club was rocking along with shots and champagne all over the place. We also hooked up with super dude and resident Mattias Joko who showed us his studio - I can't think of a cooler place in Sweden to have a set up like that.

The trip to Malmö was easy and we decided to go to Copenhagen with the train service that runs under the bridge connecting Malmö and Copenhagen. Of course we had to start our little tourist trip in Christiania, which is a mini-Amsterdam with all sorts of weird stuff going on with the government looking the other way. I can't say I'm a huge fan of stuff like this, but it was cool to see as it will be closed and smashed to pieces within a near future. Next we went to Tivoli which is a classic in its own right. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do the roller coaster, but it's a place you gotta see. At 12 Funky Junction opened up the enormous main floor of Slagthuset and tried to get some sort of vibe going, but it was just too big and there were two other rooms playing more commercial music so I had to play a few big tracks to get them out of there and by 3.30 it was great. Olav took over and played some really energetic stuff which I loved. Good night, but a shame it wasn't set up differently.

At this stage, the crew was feeling the 4 days on the road, but the sight of the club got us all excited again. It's basically a massive mansion from the 1800's turned into a club and restaurants. Again, we took all three rooms and it really rocked everywhere. I and Funky Junction took the main room and by keeping it sort of big hooks, we got them in there all night. Excellent tour altogether and the MC and Paul was a fantastic addition to the crew - thank you guys, we'll do it again soon!

Man, you're up-to-date, as always, sleep is for the weak, hehe. Well I needed mine, after 4 days of touring! Shame normal life has resumed, and back to work. No more beautiful swedish women, no more late-night chats in the hotel, no more group dinners...at least for now Thanks everyone for this fantastic tour!
