I've done a lot of Swedish gigs this year and it's good to give something back to the homeland sometimes. This place is interesting as it's a University club basically that only students have access to. There are 17000 of them in this city, many from abroad too, so I was looking forward to it. The promoter is one of those super professionals, which I noticed when I saw the custom built booth.
The night started early, around 11 and as the warm up was R&B I decided to try the John Legend, Sandy Rivera Mix then gradually build from there. Unfortunately, these guys are conditioned to R&B so all the recent remixes I've done came in really handy. The last hour things heated up and I could play some tribal sounds which went down really well.
Very good night and I will send Funky Junction down here in February for another blast.
Next up is the Color Festival in Helsinki on Sunday with Morillo and Tiesto - should be fun
