As the crew is growing bigger by the minute, I had scheduled one for each country - France, Holland and UK starting in Paris on the Thurasday. After a quick interview on Chris Kaeser's radio show, we went to this amazing club on Champs Elysees called Queen and it was pretty rammed in there for a week day and the crowd looked really good, total music heads. The resident had the crowd jumping so I got straight into the peak hour with Luke's Cross The Dancefloor remix, which is my favourite at the moment. Gradually I got more and more cheeky and in the end I dropped two Robbie Rivera monsters and then the crowd kind of looked at me like huh? The most amazing thing was that they were not into stuff like the latest Guetta at all, but the more twisted and funkier house tracks like Gaz James and Richard Grey's new vocal track. Fantastic night with Paul, Jerome, Manu, Chris Kaeser and Yves - thanks for a great 2008 guys -next year we'll do it all over!

After a few espressos and fresh baguette me and Paul took the TGV to Amsterdam, which is fantastic with wifi and all. Much better than flying I have to say. We then got picked up by Lara and her driver to go to The Hague and meet up with Vink and his friends. The club was busy and actually very cool and modern. A Funktion One system was pumping along nicely, but the vibe was a bit progtastic so I went funky to make a change quickly. It was one of those totally unexpected great nights and the crowd took just about everything I threw at them. The only time I got a bit of a huh? moment was when I dropped Loop Da Loop's mix of Encore from 1997, hahaha - proper speed garage and I suppose this trend hasn't really hit The Hague yet even though I hear more and more wonky basslines all over the world. We shall see in 2009. So here we had the Dutch crew Christmas party and we only missed Bram & Walter - we'll see you guys in Stockholm in January!

The next day I jetted over to Birmingham and hooked up with Joey. Ronster was already waiting in Stoke On Trent, but Mad Barry had cancelled unfortunately. This place was wild. A black room with a system basically and a mad crowd already jumping on stage = Proper UK clubbing as it used to be a few years ago. Incredible energy and we were all blown away by this party, really exceptional - Thank you Joey, Ronnie Bonny and Claire!

Aargh! Sorry we missed a good party, but we were knee-deep in chicken-soup, tissues, nasal spray and Contac's. Both improving bit by bit, and we'll make up for it in Stockholm! And that's a promise!
