I didn't think I would be back in Moscow this soon after the drama last time and definitely not to this club as the music poilicy is a bit weird: 'Short Mix' meaning play only hooks and nothing else of a record + the classic 'Play Commercial'. Hmmm...like I'm an underground techno DJ wink.gif

Anyway, there were no drama at all with nothing this time, no massive lines in immigration and I even met old pal Dr Alban, who was in town for a 90's kind of show. Hooked up with Oleg and Igor, the trustworthy Moscow crew and checked a really cool venue that Oleg's friend just opened. Might play there eventually I think, but more of a side show in the early morning or something. I'm trying to stretch the story a bit before we come to the main event guys, sorry about that, but you will soon know why. So, we came to the club and as usual, you wait to go on in the dancer dressing room/office and you hear the 'short mixing' blasting outside, wondering what you are doing there. Then it's like Gladiator, the gates open and you are in the hands of the moody owner that might take you off if he doesn't like it. I've always lasted the full two hours in Moscow, but this time there was an epic fail after 1 hour and 40 minutes. I will let you decide if the set list below was too hard. I can tell you I had the club rocking, especially to the slightly harder stuff and especially to Bang The Box, Gypsy Woman and Leave The World Behind - awesome!

Shame one of the cdj's didn't die so you could get a sneak peek in the girls dressing room again wink.gif And with P.E.H. you probably got a lovely goodbye from the crowd, everybody waved with tears in their eyes, and booohing to the clubowner happy.gif gr, Vink

The crowd didn't understand what the hell happened, it was quite surreal actually. Well, Moscow is a bit surreal so I guess it makes sense there wink.gif
