Queen's Day in Amsterdam is something really special on par with all Street Parades. Basically it's the Dutch Queen's birthday and everybody dresses in orange as her family name is Organge (in Dutch though). Lately, they have made Queen's Night the day before almost as big and my Euro tour started in Rotterdam, city of love (well, should be city of hard work really). All my British and American fans have made fun of my two Dutch bookings on this tour; this one was called Fuckers and the other one Ex-Pornstar, gotta love the Dutch. The guy before me played that Dutch sound that I'm not too crazy about to be honest. It's sort of leads nowhere even though it can be severely funky at times. I decided to spice things up and they went for it. The promoter came running after the show, all excited as the crowd 'had moved to the music'. Wow, that's amazing, a club that moves on the dance floor, hahaha. Loved the show and company, the whole Dutch crew except Walter & Bram were there.

Next day (after I updated my statutes on Facebook and Twitter for you that asked me to change it) some idiot drove into the Queen's entourage in another town and killed 5 people. Crazy really and all Dutch I spoke to were in shock as this sort of thing just doesn't happen in the Netherlands. Apparently all parties outside Amsterdam were cancelled, but it would have been too hard to stop them in the city so we went on without knowing. Man, it was like a festival on that Ex-Pornstar stage. Sun was shining and the vibe was perfect with Ice shouting out random bits to the crowd.

On Saturday, the tour rolled into funky Austria and Graz, which is where Arnold the Terminator was born. Plus they have a really good soccer team apparently. The club was inside a mountain and one of the coolest locations I've ever seen. The promoter, René had spent all day making it look like a club - well done! Even though the crowd had been going for a few days and were a bit tired at this stage, I really enjoyed myself and even had some Swedes coming up. Big university city apparently.

Last day of the tour and bank holiday mash up in Bournemouth. Joey and Kerry picked me up in Southampton and as we arrived in Bournemouth the sun was setting over the sea and it looked like a mediterranean summer resort - fantastic start of the night and it was to improve even more as I took over in the Toko. Great little club and the promoters had brought in a proper monster rig, just the way we like it. Crowd was up for anything and I even got the photographers dancing to the mash up of Prodigy and Witch Doctor, easily the tune of the night. I'm definitely seeing a total vibe change in the UK and it's for the better. It seems the recession has bored people to death the past year and it's time to stop whining about it and go back to the clubs for a great time. Love this development and hope it will be a worldwide phenomena this year. The US seems to be onto a big house music summer as well so I'm super excited about the months to come!

Theres alot of Lukes suff in there Stone. He's proper banging out these releases. Only saw his studio the other day and really can't beleive what he's using! Still the mastering isnt perfect, thats a done deal given the hardware but he sure knows how to max out what he uses.

Any bookings up north yet?
