The UK is killing me at the moment - having such a good time over there right now and it feels extra special as they've gone through a serious recession and made it back in one piece! Well, it's not over yet, but the club scene has really picked up and I think it's mainly re-adjusting prices and letting some of the excess go away that did the trick - well done guys!!!

Flew in and got picked up by Joey and Kerry at that new Terminal 5 in London, which is awesome (or until this Sunday at least, but more on that later). Cambridge was very nice too, like Norwich and I can't believe I've never been to any of these before. After a lovely French meal, we went to the club which was small, but proper with a fantastic early crowd. The guys played phenomenal before I went on and it was pure joy listening to it and get into the groove. I noticed that the crowd liked it funky and uplifting so came on with a bunch of piano stuff and gradually got into risky territory with the excellent break tune 'Be My Baby' by fellow Swede Peo De Pitte. I never thought I would drop that, but the vibe was just right and I played the Prodigy right after so all the guys were freaking out of joy, haha - Classic sight! Ended with my mix of Robin S, which I haven't played much since all these bloody covers have been rinsing the tune. It felt pretty good and the only weird thing was that the next DJ opened with the Angello version right after the original. Erh.... how original wink.gif

On Sunday we just had to drive into London and the best Dim Sum there is in Europe. I managed to get some friends that were over from LA coming there as well + Neil and Cass. Fantastic reunion over great food. As I came back to Heathrow, I was met by a sea of people trying to check in. No such luck as the entire baggage handling was out of order. A voice over the PA apologized like every other minute, which wasn't very helpful. As I had to check in a pair of speakers I stood in line until 45 minutes before the flight was leaving and then decided to just grab the speakers and go through security. Worked and I got on the very last minute. So much for Terminal 5 - avoid! Actually, I can not recommend Heathrow for connections while we're on the subject. Use Schiphol in Amsterdam instead or even Charles De Gaulle or Munich if you need to connect in Europe.

Next week is the start of the big Sweden tour - will be quite mad and can't wait to see the Swedish crew.
