...and the real terror begins

Did anybody else want Micki and Ryan to become a couple?

Hi!

I'm a huge fan of this great show, and it's still my all-time favorite show. I loved the friendship between Micki, Ryan, and Jack, and the episodes were also very interesting. However, I must admit that the No.1 reason why I really, really loved the show, and looked forward to watching every Saturday night was the hope that Micki and Ryan would finally get together. I loved them together. They were always so fun and interesting to watch. John D. Lemay and Robey had lots of chemistry together, and Micki and Ryan are my all-time favorite television couple/duo ever.

I know some think of them as "cousins," but they were only "cousins" by marriage, as stated by Micki's fiancee in the "Root Of All Evil" episode.

So, this would leave them free to have a romance, since they did not grow up together as kids, they were strangers when they met, and they were NOT blood-related. They're just like an other man and woman.

I never saw them as "cousins." I saw them as best friends and business partners, with a hint of something more.

Plus, the writers did not write them as "cousins, " in my opinion anyways. Ryan and Micki both were jealous and resentful when the other had a romantic interest, and Ryan flirted with Micki constantly (Remember in the pilot episode when they met). And they touched and caressed each other way too much for me to think of them as family, let alone as even platonic friends. They're was definitely something there, and it was pretty obvious that Ryan had a crush on Micki throughout the entire series. That doesn't exactly sound like "cousinly" behavior, in my opinion.
