By using the lighthouse as a reference and visiting about 250 websites, I believe I located the town where "Pirate's Promise" was filmed. As far as I can tell, the town is Port Burwell, Ontario. Here is a link to a photo of the lighthouse that matches an angle from the episode...
There is more foliage in the photo than what is seen in the episode, but I am sure things have changed somewhat in fifteen years.
By the way, I am with you on "Demonhunter". Despite the criticism, I really like the Season 3 episodes. These days, any Friday the 13: The Series is better than none!!!
