Got pregnant (1 month clomid), Baby had genetic abnormality

Hi All,

I have been reading all of your posts and yes I'm back. I got pregnant with only 1 month of 50mg of clomid. Dh and I were trying for about 7 months and we were thrilled when we found out that we were expecting. To cut a long story short, my pregnancy was going fine untill I have the AFP test. After an amnio and an intense sono we found out that the baby had downs syndrome and a really babd heart.

After that DH and I decided to terminate the pregnancy. I hope all of you don't judge us. It was the hardest thing that we had to do, both physically and emotionally. The pregnancy was no longer a happy time for us. I went through an awful procedure and look down at my belly and can't believe my little one is no longer inside me. It took me a lot to post this and share it with all of you. I was told by my doctors that the baby might not make it past delivery, if I made it that far in my pregnancy.

I know all of you are going through so much, and so am I. It has been 2 months since the procedure and I'm ready to have a baby. DH and I are TTC without clomid for a couple of months and then we will see what happens.
