E2 and U/S Results are shocking!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies!

Boy what a day. I had my E2 (Estrodail) drawn. It hould have been in the hunderds, like 200 or 300. It corrisponds with maturing eggs. Higher the number the more eggs you have. They were anticipating me being a "poor responder" to meds cause of my FSH level being so high. So they put me on the max dose of injectables. (6 Amps a day!) My E2 came back at almost 1400!!! They called be back in to the office for a STAT ultrasound, since I am only CD8 today! I still ahve 4 more days of Stims left to do before my IUI.


The u/s was shocking! I have seven follies growing!
Some poor responer I am! (ha ha) I was babling when I arrived at my u/s appoitment, it's a good thing it was my favorite RE. (I have 4 that rotate at my clinic) My U/S showed 6 follies on my right and 1 on my left. It's funny cause my right usually has NOTHING! Well it made up for it this time. The sizes are: 20, 17, 15, 15, 10, 10 (I think that's what they said) The one on the left was only a 12. When I trigger, they think for sure 3 will release, maybe 4. Oh my I am so scared.

Sometimes when you grow more follices then anticipated, they tell youto convert from IUI to IVF. But RE wants me to do IUI not convert, which is good. =) We were not prepared to do IVF. He did tell me if I did continue to finish out my cycle as planned, all 7 follies would mature! Yikes, too many for an IUI cycle, and then we'd have to convert to IVF or Cancel!

So tomarrow is the Trigger shot (ouchie). It's sooo strange as I was not anticipating this till Sunday or Monday! Wow! And we do our IUI on Friday and Saturday Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My lining was amost a 10 too, which is great! I have a feeling it's the Acupunture and the Tea I have been drinking. =) (false unicorn root helps too thicken lining)

Thank God that DH is coming home tomarrow. He's been gone all week! Geeeez talk about cutting things close. He will be arriving at 10pm and my IUI is first thing the very next am. Talk about cutting it close! Yet, we love to live dangerously! (ha ha)

So as it stands now, IUI in 2 days and then it's P4 suppositories for 18 days or until a neg HPT. =) Wow.
I have a good feeling this month is the month. I have a peace about it all, and I finally got the house decorated and stuff done I've been putting off. So my calendar is cleared, nothing left to do but be Pregnant! (ha ha)

I will be keeping you all in my prayers. We will win this battle!
