Your progesterone level is sort of low and by increasing Clomid to 100mg it can increase your chances of conceiving by helping you ovulate. I have been told that you at least want a progesterone level of above 10, the higher the progesterone the better chances proving that you actually did ovulate. How did you determine that you ovulated on day 17? If you used OPK kits they at times can be inaccurate, well that is my experience. Have you asked your doctor these questions? I would go wit your doctors suggestion to inccrease clomid and have your progesterone checked 7-9 days after you ovulated to check the levels again, then you wil have something to compare the #'s to.
