My update (Nancy)

Hi Rhonda and Amy,

I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I just had my first IUI on Tuesday. My Re is great and he was pretty positive about us getting pregnant without IVF. My Dh's sperm is fine, motility is just alittle low as well as morh. My Re said that I can get pregnant with his sperm without problems. My Re said he is positive and everything counts on my emotional state. My IUI was pretty painful because my cervix wasn't cooperating. I found out that my cervix is retroverted and is located in a U shape, if that makes any sense. My RE was able to get to it and we did the IUI. My dh and I also baby danced later that afternoon just to cover ourselves with my Re's permission. I felt crampy the day and day after the IUI. My RE said that was normal considering he had a hard time finding the opening of my cervix. I feel good and positive. I know that if it doesn't happen this month it will happen for us maybe next month. I'm in my 2ww and I wish I could find out right now.

Amy- Good luck to you. Did you take clomid this cycle? When in your cycle do you usually ovulate? Don't give up your body may cooperate.
