My Update Too

Hi -- Nancy -- you sound really positive and strong. That's wonderful! It's taken me 6 months to finally be positive too. I feel very differently about the whole thing now -- that it will happen when God believes it's the right time.

I am on 50 mg of clomid for the fourth month. The first month I took it 5 through 9 but then I switched to 3 through 9. Originally I ovulated very late in my cycle (day 19 or 20) and then got my period on day 28 to 30. Although this is supposed to be problematic (short luteal phase), I conceived my son that way the first time around. Clomid has corrected this and now I seem to ovulate on day 13 and get my period 17 days later. Waiting the 17 days has been torture! I can't believe I went from a 10 or 11 day luteal phase to a 17 day one.

We lucked out -- we had the IUI yesterday (went to the dr the day before and saw some nice ripe follicles, got the hcg injection and did IUI the next day.) We also did our thing on our own later and will tonight too!
